The 2019 PCRRHS Annual Convention will be held September 19-21 at the Holiday Inn Express Wolf Road in Albany, NY. Room reservations can still be made by calling the hotel directly at 518-459-3600.

Thursday evening will feature a presentation by Jack Wright, author of “Trackside in the Mohawk Valley 1955-2015.”

Friday afternoon will feature a tour of the Albany Port Railroad, and on Saturday morning we will have a tour of CSX’s Selkirk Yard. Tours are limited to 55 participants. All tour attendees must be 16 years of age or older and must wear long pants and hard-soled shoes or boots.

Friday evening will have a presentation by Jeremy and Jeffery Plant, authors of “Penn Central in Color”, “B&M in Color”, and other books, along with a presentation by Randy Bushart on Selkirk Yard.

The convention banquet will be held Saturday night at the convention hotel featuring an Italian buffet-style dinner. The banquet speaker will be Bruce B. Becker, Vice President of Operations of the Rail Passengers Association.

Registration for the convention closed on September 7. No walk-up registrations will be accepted.
