Walthers has announced two new Penn Central models in HO scale.

The first model is an AAR 70-ton, 3-bay hopper. These WalthersMainline models depict former New Haven hoppers that were eventually repainted into PC’s 461000-461160 series starting in 1970. The cars will be available in four numbers with a list price of $34.95.

The second model is a Pullman-Standard 86-foot high-cube double-door boxcar in the WalthersProto series. These will be available in X numbers with a list price of $59.95.

Both of these models are expected to be available in Winter 2025.
