The 2023 PCRRHS Convention was held September 21-23 near Boston, Massachusetts.
Members toured the MBTA’s Somerville Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility (Boston Engine Terminal), on Saturday September 23. Walter E. Zullig, Jr. was the banquet speaker on Saturday evening.

The PCRRHS held a scaled-down “mini-convention” called “Catch You at the Curve” in Altoona, PA on October 7-9, 2021.
After careful consideration, the PCRRHS has decided to cancel this year's annual convention, which was originally scheduled for October 8-10 in Dearborn, Michigan. We made this decision out of an abundance
of caution for the health and well-being of our members, as well as realizing that the downturn in the economy may make it difficult if not impossible for some of our members to be able to attend.

The 2018 PCRRHS Convention was held in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 20-22.
The PCRRHS 2017 Convention was held in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania on September 21-23. Tours included Norfolk Southern's Harrisburg-area intermodal terminals, Amtrak's Harrisburg station, and a ride on the Middletown & Hummelstown.
The 2016 PCRRHS Convention was held in Buffalo, New York, on September 22-24. The convention was at the Heritage DiscoveRY Center, a museum complex and event venue owned by the Western New York Railway Historical Society and located adjacent to the joint CSX/NS/B&P rail corridor east of CP DRAW near downtown Buffalo.
The WestConn Chapter NRHS and the Penn Central Railroad Historical Society hosted the 2015 PCRRHS Annual Convention in Norwalk, Connecticut, on September 24-26, 2015 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk.
The 2014 PCRRHS Convention was held in Middlebury, IN (near Elkhart) on September 25-27, 2014 at the Das Dutchman Essenhaus Inn and Conference Center. Events included a fabulous lineup of speakers, tours, and slide shows, including presentations by former PC superintendent Larry Baggerly and Norfolk Southern Eastern Region General Manager Greg Comstock, and a tour of Norfolk Southern's Elkhart Yard, along with three of Norfolk Southern's heritage locomotives (PRR, NYC, and PC).
Despatch Express, the 2013 PCRRHS Annual Convention was held in Rochester, NY, on September 26-28, 2013, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Rochester. Tours included the Alstom signaling plant in Rochester, the Rochester Model Railway Club, and two railroad museums: the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum in Industry and the Medina Railroad Museum in Medina.
The 2012 PCRRHS Convention was held September 20-22 in at the Hilton Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin, NJ. Tours on Saturday, September 22, included NJ Transit's Meadowlands Maintenance Complex, and The Model Railroad Club, Inc., in Union, NJ.
The 2011 PCRRHS Annual Convention was held September 29 through October 1, 2011, in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
Tours included the Indy Railway Service Corporation, Amtrak's Beech Grove Shops, and CSX Transportation's Avon Yard.
The 2010 PCRRHS convention was held in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tours included the Carrie Furnances in Rankin and Norfolk Southern's Conway Yard.
The Penn Central Railroad Historical Society celebrated its tenth anniversary at its 2009 annual convention in Springfield, Massachusetts. Tours included the Smith & Wesson factory, the New England Central Railroad in Palmer, MA, and the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor, CT.
The 2008 PCRRHS Convention was held on September 18-20 at the Radisson Lackwanna Station Hotel in Scranton, Pennsylvania. While Scranton was really a Lackawanna city, the Penn Central got close to Scranton, reaching nearby Wilkes-Barre. However, there was still plenty of PC to experience at this convention.
The 2007 convention of the Penn Central Railroad Historical Society was held at the Sleep Inn/Main Stay Suites hotel in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Friday afternoon featured a tour of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. Saturday's tour was of Amtrak's Wilmington Maintenance Facility in Wilmington, Delaware.
